Doggitude Coloring Pages

At my first official book signing this Saturday (at River District Arts in Sperryville, VA), I wanted a way to involve any kids who are tagging along with their parents. So I created line drawings of paintings from the book and will provide an assortment of them and a big box of crayons at a coloring table.

I have no idea how many kids might show up but it will be fun to see how they express their own “Doggitude”!

And because the coloring pages idea has been very well received, it’s likely to be a fixture at all my book-related public appearances. Plus, once I get drawings of all the Doggitude dogs done, I think I’ll offer them as a free downloadable coloring book.

Now I’m gonna go color a couple of these pages myself (will post them on the Doggitude Facebook page when I do). That box of brand new crayons I just opened smells soooo good…
