Studio Haven

I spend the majority of each day in my studio, so things can get messy and cluttered over time. Recently, I decided to get rid of a bunch of stuff that was well past its “I’ll use this one day” expiration date. Space is at a premium in my studio and it has made a big difference to free some of it up. It feels so much more open.

And finally, I framed a bunch of the Doggitude paintings and hung them on the wall. It is remarkably satisfying and motivating to sit at my worktable surrounded by all this work that represents so much personal artistic effort and growth.

I loved my studio space before but even more so now! And I can’t wait for Spring so that I can get the potted plants and raised bed just outside the door in the patio area planted. Just a few more weeks…
